soo...the SVX-R is just about ready for the road...and I want to sell it.
why you might ask? these freaking things:
Hondas VFR 800. I found a SUPER clean one for 8k...11k km (about 1/2 what the SVX-R has). V-TEC, ABS, a sweet, sweet V-4 exhaust note....UGGHHHH. TALK ME OUT OF THIS ONE

You’ll no longer be the SV Wrangler.

No! Just do it.
This is actually another one of those bikes on my list for next bike. I almost bought one back when I got my CBR1000RR. In retrospect it might have been a better choice because I love long distance rides.

I don’t see any real downsides.

its called the interceptor in the us. so you should be the interceptor wrangler.

I had one for a while. They’re fun; the VTEC gives you a nice balance of low-down torque and high RPM power.
That said, $8k seems a little high. I’m pretty sure I paid about that much for my 2007 in 2010. It had fairly low miles too.

remember, canada. our prices are pretty insflated. this is actually the best deal i have found interms of milage (11k km) VS price.
that said, it didnt come with bags. oh well.

That would make sense.

Is that the color? I mean, white is only good until Labor Day. How will you keep it clean?
If neither of these are problems for you, then I can only offer one piece of advice.
Buy It. Assuming you can actually come up with the money.

It’s ugly. Seems enough reason to me. SV’s are fairly attractive.

Have to be more carefullerrer when VTEC kicks in, yo! Save cash, eschew females.

but but but...
V-TEC. SSSA. V4. triple digit HP. 180 rear tire. (i know ht seems stupid, but its not actually THAT easy to find 160 rears cheap)

Yeah, but, do you care how many things about the Youbian Puma might be really cool or do you just see how ugly it is?
Full disclosure, I know nothing about the puma Except that I would like it’s image forever erased from my memory.

You can say “no” to a white bike, but you can only say “yes” to a white bike with white wheels. Sexy!

Then I got nothing. Buy it.

thing is, I do think the VFR looks good...its not too bloated, and the lines work

Maybe it’s just the angle mashing the other one look ugly. That pic looks pretty good. I don’t keep up on Japanese bikes at all so I’ve never seen one of these before (knowingly).

it looks better from some angles then others..
its also got a pretty sweet name...”interceptor”...come on, thats pretty fucking bad-ass

I think the design of it just puts too much emphasis on the front end, and when they got to the back they just said “fuck it, that’ll do”. Not that it’s bad mind you, it just doesn’t balance. The rear 3/4 shot looks great because you don’t see the front as much so it has better aesthetic balance.
