I recently spent some time editing !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! about the Aventador SV. I didn’t get to drive it and sadly I didn’t even get to shoot it. But even though I was 1,000’s of miles away from it, I kinda fell in love. And this is a problem.

See, I pride my self in driving anachronisms that people forgot about decades ago. I will cling fiercely to my carbureted and lap-belted cars and exclaim to anyone that passes by that new cars ain’t got soul.

But part of me really wants an Aventador SV. I know it has fuel injection, air bags, traction control and I know that my mom could probably pedal this thing to a 11 second quarter mile. But damn, sometimes I can’t help myself. I hate that I love it. It goes against my entire “old cars only” mantra but damn if I don’t lust for an SV in the driveway.

What about you guys? Is there a car you’re ashamed to like?

The Mitsubishi Mirage. Everyone says it’s a terrible car, but it’s the last bastion of the simple, honest car.

sidenote - what time and in what area would we potentially be meeting up to haul up the $200 Lotus?

The Micra’s neat, but it just isn’t quite as good as the Mirage. The Mirage is the same Mirage everyone else gets, but out Micra is a Micra shell with rehashed Versa parts :(

The seats in the Mirage are still better than the seats in the Micra. Can’t argue about the engine, though.

No, I understand what you’re saying. I don’t really have any sacred cows.

I like just about everything from the Charger Hellcat, to the new Chevy Volt, to the Porsche 918, to the Nissan GT-R to the Ford Raptor.

All I know is that I rented a Mirage for 3 days, and that combined with a 1 hour plane flight gave my back such a flare-up that I had a migraine and was nauseous. If the Micra’s is worse I can’t even imagine what my back would have been.
