It all depends on the condition of the frame. It’s sunk down so low in the dirt that I couldn’t really see it. If the frame is serviceable, I’ll weld it back up and restore it mechanically while keeping the scruffy, peeling paint. If the frame is toast, well then I’d have to really think about selling it off.

Because wouldn’t the frame still be toast? I also have no idea how to affix a rollcage to a car that has very little metal structure outside of the steel ‘backbone’. The frame looks like this:

Oakville is good. It’s closer to Guelph than most parts of Toronto.

It can always be reinforced. I didn’t realize that that’s how the backbone is set up on these. It looks to me like the frame should be salvageable pretty much no matter what condition it’s in. When you were worried about the frame, I thought you were talking about the fiberglass shell, which is load bearing on these.

They do but they’re pricey. A new frame is $3,300 AND I have pay to ship it from the UK.

That’s not bad for what it is. A $3500 Europa is still a cheap Europa. Of course shipping and everything else will be more.
