Now with gratuitous amounts of reverse entry.

Watching this just makes me more pissed that being a rally spectator in America sucks so much.

WRC suspension engineers are geniuses. It blows my mind every time I see one land a jump and they suck up every bit of landing without bouncing. How they manage to fit a bottomless suspension on a tiny hatchback with 4” of ground clearance is just plain genius.

if you think that suspension is amazing you should check out the stadium super trucks, now that is some amazing suspension setup

But those have load of ground clearance and are fully tube framed. The frames are basically designed around the suspension so it is no problem for them to put 20-30” of travel.
These guys manage to shoehorn a foot of suspension into a body shell that wasn’t designed for it. Top it off with the fact that the cars have ~4” of ground clearance when they are sitting there and the fact that they manage to put so much suspension in there is just flat out amazing.

still, it;s the fact that they can do the huge jumps and they land as if it’s no biggie, very smooth damping where as the wrc suspension does come down with a bit of a bang
