This is quite a cool craigslist find. I never knew Maserati made a convertible version of the Biturbo. It is an auto but how cool would it be to say you owned a Maserati convertible? I would buy this thing in a heart beat if I had the money.

For the discerning Maserati owner who wishes to be confused with a Renault Alliance driver.

Yeah but it should be obvious if you buy any Italian sports car it will be a money pit.

Auto might be holding it back

Horrible reliability, supposedly. But, it’s still pretty awesome.

Probably comes with the territory for an Italian car

BiTurbos are dirt cheap. They’re kind of crap.

BiTurbos are pretty cheap. That being said, I don’t see them in running/driving condition that often. I knew a guy who had one of the convertible ones. It was pretty crap. Still cool, though.

The BiTurbo will definitely net you fewer speeding tickets. While the Alliance will work every once in a while, the BiTurbo will probably never work.

These are shitty even by ‘80s Italian standards. That's why it's so cheap. This is the car unreliable cars laugh at.

Beautiful, but one of the most unreliable cars ever. Makes an ‘80s Alfa seem Japanese...

Cool and crap often go hand in hand when looking at 80s cars

That's a scary thought

Yeah but that gives it character

Hell yes. It’s on my “to buy” list once I have the space for tons of projects. You can pick them up in terrible shape for practically nothing all over NJ, so I’m thinking about buying two or three of them and making one good one out of it.

I’d still buy one as a 3rd car. Especially a Maserati Shamal...

That is an awesome looking Biturbo
