Remember those 20 or so years the Germans dominated the luxury market?
....weird times. Good thing this put a stop to that.

The germans still dominate, that being said... That thing is beautiful. I think Cadillac is on a great path right now

What Denver said. America is going to have to do a lot of work to catch up with the Germans, but this is a hell of a start.

Well I don’t know what your definition of a luxury car is, but I am pretty sure ze germans still dominate that market.

They were going to put a stop to it a few decades back, but they didn’t have the balls.
(and by ‘balls’, I mean ‘money’)

“Remember those 20 or so years the Germans dominated the luxury market?”
Been more than twenty years and they’re still at it! What’s that?

They still do!!

They still do. For every one new Cadillac, I see at least five German luxury cars.

The only new Cadillac I really ever see on the road is the new Escalade. Other than that it’s pretty much all BMW, MB, and Audi.

Saaaaame! I honestly don’t like Cadillac design right now, but I respect what they’re doing. I see them more on par with Lexus and Acura than the Germans.

Really? I see way more ATSes than I do Escalades. Even CTSes are more common around here, though less common than the ATS.

*Says ze Germans dominate luxury, posts 2 British cars*
There’s a big difference between a German brand and a German-owned brand. Bentley and Rolls-Royce are British, regardless of who owns them.

No not really.

Ya really. One is headquartered and built in Germany, the other is headquartered and built in UK.

...in a Factory built by germans. Using german money. With a german CEO. And using german engines. And german transmissions. But I digress. What I am saying is that the germans quite literally own the luxury car market.

Well in that case then yes they do dominate it.

Remember the ‘70s, when everyone was talking about going to key parties? And a Cadillac was the coolest car you could buy? There’s a place where that idea still exists......Jersey
The dream of the ‘70s is alive in jersey....jersey.....jersey.....
