Make sure it has a V8

The lower picture is of a Sidewinder, which came with a variety of Oldsmobile engines, so I have to like it.

It’s that Glastron in particular, we already have a lot of V8’s! (2 of them Olds with a few spares in the garage)

So you have a lot of experience with V8 boats?

I only know vaguely of the ones that came with Oldsmobiles, because I was born and bred in an Olds family.

What engine families are commonly used in boats like that?

A lot of them are olds, I’m not really sure why because they don’t seem to last as a boat engine. Pretty much all the popular V8’s from the 60’s and 70’s were used in boats though. I prefer the chev 454’s with bravo drives or berkley Jet drives just for easy to find parts and longevity of the engine.

Cool looking boat, not what we’re looking for, but I hope you’re having fun with it!

Out of all the GM cars we’ve had it seems like the Oldsmobiles lasted the longest.

They must not like the effects moisture has on oil and sustained rpms

A priority main oiling 454 would probably outlast anything regardless of application though.

It is. I need a wooden V8 or V12 powered speedboat in my life.

Lol the message is always so direct in country music. There aren’t innuendos, complicated messages, or complex rhythms. Always find that interesting.

My wife wants me to buy a boat too.

Kinja'd!!!

Not something I’m interested in. Although the kind of boats you and yours seem interested in definitely seem tempting.
