They drive boring cars, so we don’t have to.

True, they are the sheep, we are the wolves. Thank you Prii drivers for living in mediocrity so we don’t have to.

I don’t understand why it makes any difference to us whether people drive Prius’ or not.
Whether the guy next to me drives a new Prius or a new sports car doesn’t matter. Actually it would be better for more people to drive sports cars since more automakers would start making them.

Is a Prius really that boring? Comparied to say, I dunno a Suburban or a Kia Sedona?
![]() 05/25/2015 at 06:16 |

I actually prefer other people to drive Prii over, for example, CUVs. Why? Because a Prius is safer for people in other vehicles in case of a crash (less weight) and isn’t tall so it wont block your view. Another benefit is that it uses less fuel, which is good for a variety of reasons.
I’m just glad I don’t have to drive one.

No, but it helps with the CAFE targets. And that keeps powerful engines in other Toyotas.

At least a suburban feels like you’re driving a living room
![]() 05/25/2015 at 06:27 |

but they still manage to get in our way!

Well yeah, I dont have a problem with Prius drivers but I do have problems with SUVs/CUVs.
It’s like, oh how’s the view up there? Tell me about it since you’re blocking mine.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 07:06 |

But it’s a boring living room, relatively speaking.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 07:17 |

And they save gas, so more for us!
Just stay out of the left lane please.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 07:18 |

Oh yea! In a Suburban, you can run shit over, carry all 7 of your buddies and all your gear while pulling a boat. And LS power!
![]() 05/25/2015 at 07:27 |

If you own a suburban and have seven friends who want to ride in it - it is probably because they all own Kia Sedonas. ( )
![]() 05/25/2015 at 07:30 |

Hehe, they would be some boring friends.

A total opposite of a Prius hehe. 4wd, 8.1 liter V8, 10 mpg, allison trans.

Yes

Except 80% of them plaster their “eco friendly” cars with angry democratic stickers and that type of thing.

Yes, it is.

The (old) Sedona isn’t great as a minivan, but it’s a great sleeper. Damb thing is pretty quick.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 09:23 |

Exactly this. Go nuts, save fuel for me to burn, just don’t pass the misery of your choice on to the rest of us.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 09:27 |

The problem I have is with the driver, and as the prius driver is a particular type, as far as I’m concerned they come as a package. The thing is they tend to pass on their misery of choosing to buy a prius by becoming rolling obstacles. Stay in the right lane, and you can drive whatever the hell you want, frankly.

They would be awesome if they could figure out which lane they’re supposed to be in when not passing.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 10:00 |

Yes.
05/25/2015 at 10:26 |
|
I’d have that over minivans with plastic fetuses and tea bags hanging from them.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 10:27 |

What and where and how the fuck?
![]() 05/25/2015 at 10:32 |

I would rather have a fiesta, fiat 500, or a civic. They come standard with less smug.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 10:33 |

My problem with Prius drivers is they all seem to be competing for the best MPG of all time by driving slow. More often than not in the far left lane of the freeway. What am I saying... more often than not, period.
05/25/2015 at 10:40 |

At a tea party near you.
I I’ve seen people driving with shit like that in their truck beds.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 10:41 |

What the fuck is wrong with these people?
05/25/2015 at 10:46 |

Not enough read books or abroad vacations that include a cultural part. I guess.
05/25/2015 at 10:51 |

No Super GT Prius?
No more cookies for you.
![]() 05/25/2015 at 10:52 |

I just don’t get the hate, bigotry and prejudice that these cars are the object of. There are plenty of other hybrids out there that no one even notices. Was it that Souh Park episode?
![]() 05/25/2015 at 10:59 |
|
Nope.
05/25/2015 at 11:03 |
|
It’s the number of them, and because of that they’re everywhere.
No other hybrid even comes close to measure itself against the Prius when it comes to sales.
It’s not just a hybrid car. It’s the car that took hybrid propulsion, mainstream.

ULTIMATE PRIUS!!!!!!!!
![]() 05/27/2015 at 12:11 |

So many of SoCal’s traffic issues could be solved for those of us in a hurry and/or not worried about economy if those who weren’t similarly minded just stayed out of the freakin’ left lane...
![]() 05/27/2015 at 12:12 |

When was the last time you saw a Prius owner overtake someone?
![]() 05/27/2015 at 12:12 |

And they’ll come to your driveway with less cash out of your pocket.
![]() 05/27/2015 at 12:18 |

And deliver better mileage, assuming the drive isn’t all city and that you are concerned about the people behind you.
![]() 05/27/2015 at 12:21 |

Never?
![]() 05/28/2015 at 13:10 |

So, so true. Remember that lawsuit where some lady sued Honda over her Civic’s mileage? She probably drove like a normal human.
