For the Memorial Day Weekend, the already great American Airpower Museum in Farmingdale had some even better exhibits- real airworthy WW2 aircraft, including the world’s only flying B-29. I didn’t take many pictures on my phone, but I may have more available.

I've been to a lot of air shows, and jets are cool, but there's nothing like the sound of those piston pounders beating up the aerodrome.

I smile every time I see a picture of FiFi. Just knowing there’s one left flying continuing on to tell the story and legacy of her sister Superfortresses. The saddest thing is knowing that she’ll live on longer than her crews.

FiFi herself has got some stories to tell- our guide onto the aircraft (in through the forward bomb bay!) said he was serving at the test range where FiFi was meant to be used as target practice. However, people stepped in, got the aircraft, and became the Commemorative Air Force, or CAF
