Wonderful race. Hard fought. The last 20 laps had me on my feet the entire time.
Montoya also beat my namesake’s record of 10 years between Indy 500 wins. Montoya hadn’t won since 2000. Foyt had his gap between 1967 and 1977.
Indy 500 > Monaco GP Today. sorry not sorry

The racing at Indy was certainly better, however all the crashes are scaring me shitless

The Carpenter crash hit the wall DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME. Cars hitting the wall that close at 180+MPH feels like being punched in the chest.

Only Hinchcliff was actually injured. And that wasn’t something they could have prevented with any amount of safety measures, since steel will always pierce carbon fibre.
