Cleans up pretty well if I do say so myself.
Other than the hole in the seat bottom of the driver’s seat which is pretty easily mended, the interior is in great condition IMO. I even fixed all the headliner issues. Now if only the exterior matched the interior... Baby steps.

needs moar roundelz.

I don’t know why, but this wheel doesn't have an actual roundel, it's just stamped into the plastic airbag cover. I'm gonna get the 3-spoke version of the M wheel that has one.

It could be my favorite feature of the car. They just add that extra level of comfort.

That is rather odd, on first glance I didn’t even see it..

I took one from a e28 and put in on my e36 M3. It just plops out and just glued it on clean. Makes a big difference. Only thing different on mine compared to yours is that the trim glued horribly on the front of my glove box fell off and i had an illuminated ///M shift knob. Also the storage thing under the CCM was removed for a Sirius radio module

Oooh, that's nice to know! I imagine it makes a HUGE difference.

Nice work! Looks pretty good.
I suggest that you get a leather dying kit to fix up the cracking and fading that I can see on the drivers seat. (If it actually looks like that in person)

It's not that bad in person, but it does need to be redyed. After we got the hole fixed we probably will.

Good plan, I’d say that doing it yourself would save money. I’m not too sure about fixing that hole yourself though, haha. Is it a cigarette burn?

Nice! Are you just getting in to detailing?
![]() 05/23/2015 at 21:50 |

It's from the foam in the bolster breaking down and the metal frame rubbing on the leather. We're gonna have the whole bolster replaced probably.

I never found much use for them, probably because I have short-as-shit legs.

Yeah they work really well if you have long ass legs like myself.

Leather cleaner on the seats, just water on the dash/plastics and door jambs, windex for the windows.

Cool. That’s what I was thinking was ideal.

I couldn’t find a picture of it on my M3 but here is one of it on my e36 325i sedan. It is the same steering wheel from the e34 from what I could remember. I had one on it as well. Look for e28 steering wheel center roundel and put it on yours!

Cupholders? I agree. BMW make the best cupholders.
