There is also a difference between a used french car and a trashed used french car. You just can’t get a decent A610 for less than €20,000, one of the much less rare GTAs or A310s, sure, but not the A610.

I’ve got multiple used French cars. 15 and 27 years old. Quite solid, really. You just need to buy the cars that weren’t molested by a previous owner.

There’s a big difference between 1992 and 2007.
In ‘07 you could pop down to the Toyota dealer and take home a brand-new Camry V6 that would do naught-to-60 in the same time as the A610 - and the Camry would have a boot and could seat 5.

I got flamed on the FP for briefly expressing my dislike of Clarkson. Never again.
For years now his great insight and (waning) humor had barely been worth the piles of bullshit and belligerent rudeness that only served his cult of personality. ..an just wasted a ton of airtime. He had it coming, and probably with a chuckle, thought he’d just get a slap on the wrist.
Some people think it’s cute he’s a racist, hyper nationalist asshat and it’s all totally worth it. Fuck that and fuck him claiming cultural ignorance. He knows what he’s doing and that kind of complacency is what encourages prejudice and other people like him to make off color comments with a smirk. Soft sexism/ racism is still sexism/ racism

I say the same shit about him on other sites and get attacked for it. I don’t care about his nationalist attitude but that he would simply attack someone over fucking cold food. That is a good example of probably how much of a dick he is and nobody should be revering him.
