I found a Yamaha Chappy 80 project for $250. No Title/Not Running.

The guy is firm on his price which is about $50 more than I’d feel comfortable with.

The No Title part is what’s stopping me right now. But it still seems like a good deal and that’s where I’m stuck.

Maybe. If the engine turns, then it might be an okay toy.

If it is seized, don’t bother.

It also depends on how easy it is to title something where you live.

I most likely would flip it if I got it and got it running. (I’m 6”3” tall and 280lbs.) It’s a 2 stroke so if the Jug is scored to heck it’s a boat anchor to me.

Illinois sucks for Lost Titles. I still technically have an Iowa address and it’s much easier out there. A visit from DNR and a trip to the County Recorder and you’re done.

Mini bikes have a fanatic following that will spend oodles on stuff like this.
