Now that I’m home from college, I’ve finally had time to fire up my Xbox and try out the Heists for GTA V. And now I want every Rockstar employee to die in a grease fire.

Kinja'd!!!

I’ve been stuck on the Humane Labs Heist for 3 days now. I can’t get past the last setup mission where you have to deliver the Insurgent/EMP to the Merryweather facility. Rockstar literally made it impossible to beat this mission.

First, I spend the better part of an hour dicking around in lobbies, waiting for people to join my heist. Then, we all have to drive across the entire goddam map to pick up the armored Insurgent truck. Then we have to drive as a team to the Merryweather complex. Already that’s 10-15 minutes depending on how incompetent your teammates are at driving to a waypoint.

Then your team needs to SILENTLY kill every Merryweather guard in your way. The only way to do that is for multiple teammates to simultaneously snipe adjacent guards. This can’t be done unless every teammate has a headset and is actively communicating with each other as to which guard they’ll take out.

If anyone misses their shot, you alert the guards, and you fail the mission.

If anyone shoots too early, you alert the guards, and you fail the mission.

If anyone forgets to use a silenced weapon, you alert the guards, and you fail the mission.

Once you fail 3 times in a row, a teammate rage quits, and everyone is kicked back into the lobbies. Then you waste another 40 minutes waiting to try again, only to repeat the process.

Fuck you Rockstar.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

everyone has a headset, is competent, uses a suppressed weapon, can shoot, and communicate...

that is by far the funnest mission in all of GTAO.

That is a big “if”.

Too bad you’re not on PS3, PS4, or PC, or I could squad up and help you.

Also a little tip that many people seem to ignore on that mission: never line up a shot where there is another NPC anywhere behind them. It doesn’t matter how far away they are, if a bullet whizzes past them, they’ll hear it and get spooked. For instance, for the two Merryweather working on the truck, go up the stairs to the right, so that it’s just solid wall behind them when you shoot. If you shoot them when you first encounter them, the lab coat geeks will be behind them and hear the bullets.

I really liked the Prison Break. There are so many moving parts and getting the timings right is a good challenge. Series A sucks though. And Pacific Standard is, well, Pacific Standard.

If you have two mic’d people it’s literally the easiest heist setup mission. The two people on mics can lead the other two.

How to this mission solo.

By djmt1.

1. Run to the gate and kill the two guards.

2. Go straight on and take the first staircase on the right.

3. Snipe the guy across the courtyard to your left.

4. Go to the wall on your right and snipe the guard on the balcony.

5. Shoot the two guards at the car, MAKING sure you kill the one standing first.

6. Kill the two scientists behind them.

7. Snipe the guard at the junction box.

8. Kill the two scientists who come out the alley way.

9. Snipe the guard and scientist by the garage.

10. Kill last guard on walkway.

I love doing this mission since I usually let the randoms I’m with fail it a few times and then offer to do it, they doubt me and then sit back and watch with a mixture of hate and love as I do it.

Pretty much, that.

Its near impossible unless you have at least two people with comms who can work through the targets, otherwise hope you have at least two people who have done all the heists prior and have led.

Series A sucks balls too.

There’s a couple of us that play on PS3

That fucking mission took us like 4 hours. I got so fed up to the point where I just sat by the truck and let the other guys go in. They took out everyone then I drove in.

What got really annoying is the first time we actually got through the stealth part we messed up leaving and failed

I share your frustration. Not with this heist in particular, yet, but the whole GTA online system. ALL THE DAMN LOADING SCREENS. I swear in the hours I’ve spent playing GTA online, 33% has been spent in loading screens/black screens, 33% waiting for idiots to join my damn lobby, and 33% actually playing the game. No way should this all take so long.
