Best interior EVER! Everything wrapped in leather, wood, aluminum, and all that. Smells so good. Stitching and finish is 100% premium. Picture do not do it justice. And them seats!!!

Bottom 4 lights are dummies, but Volvo is developing a Laser headlight system very soon.

Saw one at a local dealership as I was driving by recently. Can’t wait to see one up closer and in more detail.

Love the side profile - looks sexy as hell with that low slung swooped back thing going. This is going to be a huge hit.

Funny thing is, this vehicle is THE most safe, powerful, and modern vehicle Volvo has ever built..... and it will be the OLDEST car in the fleet by 2018. So many new awesome product coming very soon

it is pretty rad. Our Mercedes guys love it and so do the Land Rover peeps across the street. This particular model is for a customer that was at our Mercedes side looking at an ML and in their words was, “too old”

A guy from my local Volvo group was able to get behind the wheel of one of these. He said it’s easily better than just about anything the other luxury brands have in its segment.

Yeah Volvo is really going places design-wise at least. Glad they didn’t end up completely dying. Hopefully with a few hits like this they’ll have a bit more flexibility to turn up the crazy a bit more too from a performance standpoint (although at least for now they seem to be all about efficiency and safety...which is fine too, I guess).

Sadly, I can’t tow my trailer with it, so it won’t be replacing my truck any time soon.

This is a simply beautiful SUV, Volvo really applied themselves with this one. However, when it comes to crossovers, imho, the king is still the Cayenne.

I mean you can have leather wrapped air vent slats, if that doesn’t scream ultimate douche-nozzle luxury then I don’t know what does.

I saw it both at the Paris Motor Show in October and more recently in February during the stopover of the Volvo ocean race in Auckland (where it was sitting next to a XC coupé concept).

I love this car, it looks so good, and full of tiny little details everywhere. It’s so much better than a German car when it comes to premium/luxury. And anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

I’ve been lusting after a Volvo for so much time, a sweet, sweet V60 T6 <3

I thought about a used one but the interiors didn’t age well, I mean they got pretty rough and the fake wood was all fuct. It was bigger than I needed for city garage spaces too but I considered it. Maybe one of these someday.

That new XC90 is looking good. Random question, but have you seen many of the T5 Drive-e engines in for oil burning? My mother’s 2015.5 S60 is suffering from that issue at 5,000 miles.

Volvo T8-R concept. It uses the T8 hybrid drivetrain the will be in the XC90. Hopefully they can make this

The old 3.2 liter I6 had some issues bu5 nothing yet on the 4 cyl engine. I made a note of this and will report to you if i hear anything ok, i promise

I asked a Volvo rep, remember the wagon concept? The new V90 will be almost identical to that plus 2 more doors. His source was some higher uos in Sweden that have seen one production that exists.

We sale Mercedes Benz as well and the first thing every salesman and service person said was “wow” or “that is beautiful”. We even had people from across the street at Land Rover just be in awe for this.

Everything to me now seems dated compared to this. Volvo will pick up where the Germans left off. This particular XC90 is for a Mercedes customer that was looking at an ML that was in their word “too old”.

I talked to my rep about the new S90 and V90. Remember the those concepts? From what he heard from the very few people that have seen the cars behind the scenes in Sweden, they are almost identical to the concepts plus 2 doors

Thanks. She is actually in talks with the dealer manager about trading it in on a good old 5 cylinder, and he sounded willing, in order to keep a loyal customer. I'll let you know how that works out. She mentioned a v60 Cross Country.

There will be growing pains, but Volvo has more freesom to commit to quality being finally free from Ford and bulding a car from scratch in Sweden

We just went to another closer Volvo dealer to sit in one,as the dealer she goes to is 40 miles away, and she really liked it, as did I. Hopefully her dealer will work things out for the better.
