CTS-V Brake upgrade, 6 piston fronts, 4 piston rears.
I...I don’t exactly have tiny hands.
What it’ll all be going on, with some new suspension upgrades, rebuilt T-56, refreshed rear end with an Auburn Racer diff, newly built engine and some other odds and ends. Now we just need more track time to take care of the loose nut behind the wheel!
Best pic from before teardown...

The Speedlines Mistrals do not :( I love those wheels.
Getting Forgestar CF5’s spec’d out for an F-body with the best “flush” offset for proper track width by the capable guys at Vorshlag. Considering their actual Track record, they have shown some amazing capability with fine tuning their cars.
I searched high and low for a nice set of wheels and not settle with a set of Corvette wheels.

Sooooooo nice. You gotta love how modular GM cars are.

Awesome. I very much want these on my car. They fit Mitsubishis with some sturdy brackets and are actually considerably cheaper than 4 pot EVO 7+ brembo’s, thanks to Evo drivers being entitled jerks.
Looks like you have the handling down...so are those trick heads going to get some forced induction or whats goin on there..

No FI right now, once I can get the fab equipment I’ll do them myself. It will more than likely be a twin turbo (Think GT28RS) for reasonable track response.
It’s a set of race ported big valve heads, big cam and should do nicely for a V6 on course. Going from 168whp stock, and anticipate well north of 250whp this time around. Was around 220-ish on the previous cam and basic ported heads with stock valves.

Yeah, lot of interesting things to cross-polinate.

Thanks, it needs a repaint, but I love the color. I’ve owned it since ‘02, second owner. 160,000 miles on it now.

Yeah, did a lot of research on what others are doing in the import crowd and checked the maps. The “Disco Potato” fit perfectly for my intended goals and seems to punch above its weight rather well.

Pretty 5 spokes! I miss rolling on mine, despite them being just 15” :p

cts v brakes seem popular, people put them in R32 Skylines as well which is insane on a car that small.

Wait, did you not total your car? I must have had a very realistic dream, then..... I distinctly remember reading about “the guy on Oppo doing a CTS-V brake swap” getting into a wreck while out testing the new setup.
I don’t know what to believe anymore.

Haha no, though the engine did get toasted lol!

Thanks! I got it as a joke because with the old cammed setup I’d always get asked, “What’s done to your LS1?” Always get shocked looks when I tell them it was a V6.

I want to do this sort of thing to my 1998 V6 Mustang.
