AIRLINE MAINTENANCE FUN FACT: I recently learned that scimitar wiglets are broken off Southwest 737s quite regularly.

;) Winglets are broken off all aircraft with regularity! Bonus fact is that they have issues with flutter so APB is not fond of approving repairs. There are people out there who do fix them though.
