A !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , for the first time in the flesh.
The valet parking at Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 has a row for electric cars, plugged into a futuristic looking charging station that glows green when its charging and blue when its full. The moving walkway between the terminal and the garage runs through this area.
Usually on the other side of that glass all one sees are Teslas. This one stood out. The usual thing: “Wait, what is...is that...it is!”
Seeing one in the flesh tells me, perhaps, all I want to know about why for every Fisker Karma I’ve seen, I’ve seen 100 Teslas, or more. Its front and back end are nice, but it’s what links them together where it falls apart visually.

I saw my first one last year. I caught up to it on the freeway, but all I could make out on the rear was “Karma,” which became a bit of a google adventure. I had no idea this thing even existed beforehand. It has quite the presence in person.

IMO this is on of the most beautiful sedans ever made. To me it’s a car you can put your house in a room with a chair a bottle of scotch that you sip quietly while admiring the car.
Then take it outside and hoon it until the batteries are dead.

Well, you know, just in case somebody had no idea what it was by looking at it. Highly likely an Oppo would, but just in case :D Also, a good general info thread for more details about the car that you may have forgotten. I find I do that often, in fact: somebody posts a car, and I know it, but ask myself, “What engines did that come with again?” and such. Wiki is usually good for such basic info.

I saw two yesterday. The local exotics dealership had one out on their lot and one in the showroom. They look good, but I was drawn to the CupR and 2 Eleven they had in the showroom.

Always thought they looked a little odd in pictures, but really like them in person. Definitely extreme in some ways, but curvy, attractive, and...different.

I live in South Florida. I see one of these at least once a day. Pretty sure once Lord Lutz gets his company up and running and starts stuffing LS V8’s under the hoods of the remaining Karma’s, I’ll be seeing even more of them. The wealthy men of SoFlo LOVE fast toys.

In so many ways, the Fisker Karma really is the DMC DeLorean of the modern generation... it is a beautiful car, that is MASSIVELY IMPRACTICAL TO USE on any daily basis. Then, add the fact that it has a woefully pitiful engine due to how heavy it is (this car needs 600+ horses to really stand out, it only has 400) and even modern lightweight sportscars will outgun it on the highway...
It is a car that, for those who know what it is, it is a beautiful monster... for those who don’t know what it is, they need to know what it is... for those who have one, they cherish every moment they have with it!

I freakin’ love Karmas. There are about 3 or 4 that I see regularly and every time I’m still as excited as the first. They just tickle me in the most inappropriate, yet enjoyable ways.
