I was driving along at night with no specific destination. Just one of those drives that people like us are wont to do.

As my vehicle downshifted for the upward climb of a hill, I noticed a source of illumination just over the crest. It was bright. Bright like if the full moon had landed just over the hill. As I approached it it approaches me. It was a fellow motorist. Their head lights on the sear cornea setting.

*Full Disclosure* I draw a special kind of pleasure from blinding those who would blind others.

I had switched off my brights at the first indication of the oncoming vehicle. They crest the hill and proceed to generously shower me with light. At the very moment I’m about to retaliate, my hand trembling in anticipation, they turn off their brights.

My world falls apart.

Know whats more dangerous than someone blinded by an oncoming vehicle? Two people driving towards each other blinded, and one of them has no time to prepare.

I’ve started turning mine on and laying on the horn as I go by. This is mainly on the main strip by my apartment where assholes thing they need their brights on at all times of day.......

I’d be happy with rally lights. A friend of mine has a spotlight on the back of his work truck. I wouldn’t mind one of those either.

No. Fuck the asshole brodouche who flashed his brights at me when I had my low beams on and then proceeded to blind me with his fucking LED light bar when I didn’t turn my low beams off for him. Fuck him sideways with a ten foot rusty pole infected with tetanus, rabies and ebola.

Fuck the STi with HID 18000000000K aftermarket misaligned headlights who nearly burned my retinas for 10 kilometre, not passing me on a secondary road until I stopped and waved him by; he then proceeded to drive 10 under the limit because #LowAndSlow.

If I had an LED bar on my car at the moment, I would have bathed this moron in so much lights that he would have got sunburn on the back of his skull.

If someone has their high beams, flash yours. If they don’t turn theirs off, then they are an asshole or oblivious and feel free to run your street legal high beams.

There is a special place in hell for people who run non road legal lights, whether the lights are Chinese HID pieces of shit or LED off road bars.
