I can confirm that the C7 is absolutely incredible. I’ve never driven a C5, but I spent plenty of time in a C6, and the improvement in just one generation is really amazing. The C7 feels so...alive! With the NPP sport exhaust it sounds spectacular, the power is really accessible on the road (460 is perfect, you can get into it a bit without being overly reckless), the shifter is one of the best I’ve ever used, the seats are superbly supportive and comfortable, clutch action is quick and smooth, and the car really just wants to get tossed around.

9.5/10, will drive more

I did indeed. I actually drove both, the difference isn't that big on the road. I'm sure magnetic ride and PTM are great on track, though.
