This is the newest car I’ve seen at Pull-A-Part so far. 2008.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
There was also a bagged Ranger there. I wanted it so bad, but it was mostly just a frame covered in wire spaghetti by now...

Lastly, I thought this Civic looked pretty funky with all this extreme weight reduction going on. Also, this is the first hybrid I’ve seen in the junkyard as far as I know.

My local yard has a 2009 GMC Acadia. It seems like a real shame that a car that was nearly $40,000 6 years ago, is now sitting in a junkyard.

Probably never got an oil change or any real maintenance. Then it died, the owner didn’t want to pay for the repairs, and now he’ll never buy a GM product again because of the “horrible quality.”

Out of curiousity I just checked the inventory of the closest one to me. It seems to be a 2007 “Saturn Saturn”. Next is an ‘06 Corolla. On the other end of the spectrum they also list a ‘48 Hudson, a ‘51 Kaiser, and a ‘51 Packard!

It's just so wasteful.

New? My local-ish yard has three 2014s in stock.

That’s way junk yards depress me. I know there just cars but I hate to see the waste.
