I’ve been around here for a little over 18 months and with every change it seems like I came too late to the party, it got too big, now the cops are kicking us out.

Actually to be honest, I feel like this is happening with everything lately. Every class I’ve ever been in has been an experimental transitional thing. I feel like I’m in between the older group that worked harder but got a cooler result and the younger group who gets everything they want but the result is complete shit. Every day the world gets worse, but I hope Oppo stays weird!

That blurs the distinction between the sub-blogs. What’s the point of Oppo if it’s not a Jalopnik extension? Will it still be listed as a sub-blog in the drop down?

I’m pretty sure those will remain on the sidebar while Oppo will no longer be there. TruckYeah, Blackflag, Foxtrot Alpha, etc. etc. are legit blogs with specific focuses that serve Jalopnik.

Oppo is like the island of misfit toys, which I’ve always liked.

Yep, they’re official, non-open sub-blogs, so they’re all staying as jalopnik.com domains.

Oppo should stay on the sidebar, too, AFAIK. The only change is the move from .jalopnik.com to .kinja.com.
