Daughter (8) has forever been telling me she wants a truck, but then she saw a Tacoma (similar as pictured) and burst out “oooo! I want a toyota truck! they’re perfect” (I admire her taste)

Son (6) “I think I just want a dog, and a baby, and a family, so a good car for that, like bigger than yours is dad”

Good choice. My 5 year old wants a red CTS with a sunroof. Although red and sunroof are much more important.

I always wanted a Wrangler YJ when I was a kid I remember seeing ads in the newspaper and telling my dad I wanted one when I could drive. I still want one.
