So I had a 2013 Ford Fusion SE 2.0T, and sold it to escape the wrath of car payments. I’m currently driving an (unfortunately) automatic Mazda2.

I happened to be browsing for manuals near me and this popped up.

I want it.

bad.

It’s even my choice of color combo.

I really like those cars, though I haven’t driven one with a manual. So I understand the wanting.

You seem to make rash and financially deprecative car decisions... I like you

My 2.0T Fusion was a fantastic car.

Getting better fuel economy from the 1.6T, being able to row your own, and not having black leather...that would be even better.

Sometimes I think it would be fun. But then I think that not having a car payment for the past 3.5 years has been fucking great. Also, $50 a month in insurance for a 20 year old is hard to beat.

I really don’t think you’ll notice 1 mpg difference.....

I had a 2.0T, which is rated at 22/33. It consistently got at least 30 mpg so I would expect the 1.6 with the 6speed to get 35 regularly the way I drive
