Diving, basically falling down to draw a penalty even though it wasn’t a foul to begin with. Kinda like diving in football (or soccer) and hockey.

Someone asked me yesterday if I would be watching “the basketball game.” At the time, I was wearing a BYU polo and I wondered if BYU was playing a game. Dude said, “The Warriors, man.” I said, “Huh?”

Anyhow, thanks very much for the replies! Flopping sounds pretty childish, and that player receiving a fine suggests to this basketball aficionado that he flopped poorly. Or blatantly. Or, dare I say, dick ishly...
