i cri evryteim
Why you so big, new BMWs?
Seriously though, I saw an E28 next to an F10 at a light today, and I can’t help but think some hapless bavarian accidentally set the factory giant xerox machine to 125% scale and no one has noticed.
I know modern car makers manage to make the modern whales pretty light and impressively efficient (though the 5 series has still seen a 700+ lb weight gain since the 80’s), but imagine if those technologies were applied to a car the right size?
It’s not impossible, ya damn stick-in-the-mud why-move-the-engine-the-rear-is-fine German engineers, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with probably an 8th of your RnD budget. Get it together.

Because Mazda can’t afford model bloat. Maybe that’s a good thing.
