Ive got a question that has been wheelie been bugging me....

Ok im done with the puns I promise. I have a set of horrible Foose wheels that came on my gmc sierra when I bought it last year.

I want to sell them as 20inch low profile tires are stupid on a 4wd truck, however the chrome is peeling off of them badly and the aluminum underneath is pitted. What is the best way to strip/prep them for paint so i can hopefully get some cash for them. (Note the wheel pictured is the best of four.)

and i figure those toyo tirse are worth a few bucks anyways. the fornts are like new... the back not so much :-)

i was hoping with some work i could maybe get more. however i cant think of a way for it to come out good without some serious work. and that isnt gonna happen

Yeah, save yourself the torture of trying to improve them for a small amount of money that won’t be worth the extra time. Sell them as-is

I agree EXCEPT for the nitrous line, those are okay. Mainly because they are basically torque thrusts and Foose didnt design torque thrusts
