(Full Disclosure: Chevy wanted me to drive a new corvette so badly that I bought a used Ford Explorer from a local Chevy Dealer and asked if i could test drive the new corvette. To my honest shock my sales guy said yes.)
So today I went to the Chevy dealer where the wife and I bought our new used Explorer to sign paperwork, lots and lots of paperwork. After everything was signed the Dealer let me drive their new Corvette, These are my impressions
Exterior: 8/10
This thing is Gorgeous, I’m especially a sucker for the fire engine red with the black wheels but there is hardly an angle that has a flaw to it.
Interior: 7/10
Leather is absolutely everywhere and the sight lines out of it aren’t terrible. The only thing I didn’t really like is I honestly couldn’t find a comfortable seating position. The LCD gauge cluster is clear and easy to use and the HUD is a nice touch.
Acceleration: 9/10
Holy mother of god this thing is quick. I’ve driven V8s before but never anything that is so responsive to the press of the gas pedal. Being a short test drive since they didnt want to many miles put on it I wasnt able to get to any sort of fun speeds but just going from 30 to 50 left a smile on my face.
Transmission: 8/10
Yes it was the Auto-Box but it was still fantastic. shifts were quick and precise even on the mostly residential roads we were on.
Ride, Handling and Braking: 6/10
So I’m lumping these three catagories together mainly because the test drive was so short. The brakes did what brakes do. The roads around town were being resurfaced so it was a little rough on the ass but i didnt mess with any of the ride settings. Jury is still out on handling cause i only made 5 turns and they were all rights.
Audio: 9/10
Trumpets, thats what those 4 pipes are, glorious god damn V8 powered trumpets. On start up there is an angry growl, going from 0-40 they tickle every auditory sense and when maintaining a constant speed it doesn’t drone on and on. I didn’t test the audio system, who needs speakers when you have that exhaust
Toys: 9/10
Pretty much everything you’d ever want in a modern day sports car.
Value: 7/10
This Corvette Stingray Z51 3LT tips the pricing scale at 75k. If i won the lottery tomorrow I’d probably buy it but being my Ambulance Driving self I’ll never be able to afford one new.
Total: 63/80

Did the seats have the “We know you want to move your seat here but we won’t let you,” seat rails and back or could put it wherever you wanted?

i didnt really have a problem moving back its just for some reason it felt like i was sitting too high up in it, and im not a tall guy by any means.
