So I’m sitting on the Q train (local train) at a local stop and a B train (express train) flies by. I can transfer to the B at the next stop, so I anxiously wait till my train gets there.
Thankfully when my train gets to the next stop the B is sitting there waiting (I’m thinking the signal control people probably told the conductor of that train to wait for my train). So I run off the Q train and halfway across the platform the conductor of the B train closes the door. She sees me (or looks in my direction), opens the doors again, and then as I get even closer the doors close... AGAIN.
Now, the damn B train leaves. So I have to run back to the Q behind me. I’ll probably never see her again but I hate that conductor. I have a final exam to get to. I’m going to write a letter to the BBC and I don’t care if they don’t read it.
TL;DR - Some men just want to watch the world burn. And women.

I've seen bus drivers do that.

They do that on purpose. I know a guy who works for the MTA who says that late night when they see a guy running down the stairs, they’ll wait until he gets close to slam the doors. Assholes.

Fuck the MTA.
Seriously. Scumbags just keep bumpin’ up prices for shitty service so the LIRR workers can afford their mortgages for their 2nd homes.

Bus driver did that to me when I was in middle school. He closed the doors in my face and almost chopped my hands off in the process. A witness yelled and wrote down bus number but I don’t know if she did anything afterwards.

Transit people must be a little off. I think they enjoy doing that stuff every once and a while.

Is this a spider or an MTA bedbug?

I once was running for a bus (note: I never run for a bus, it’s embarrassing so in this instance I broke my rule) and just as I get there he closed the door and I stuck my arm into it forcing him to open it. I get on and he’s like “You can’t stick your arm in the door, you can seriously injured. I would’ve opened the door for you, you don’t have to put your arm in”.
So I responded “You are full of shit, you weren’t going to open the door you were going to close it and drive off. Don’t sit there and fuckin lie to me” then I put in my metrocard and walked on towards the back of the bus.
