Yesterday was one of those magical warm, sunny, spring days in Seattle. Days when winter beaters are abandoned, and the covers are ripped from hibernating thoroughbreds. I happened on several Feraris, those rare automotive beasts from the island nation of Maranello. I’ve recorded my sightings to share with you.

Before I even start, just look at that glorious classic Ferari emblem to get into the spirit. Doesn’t it just conjure up emotional memories of speed and power and awesome? Awesome.

My Ferari spotting day started out bright and early. On my way to school this morning I was pleasantly surprised to catch a glimpse of this gorgeous F12 Berlinetta. Needless to say, I had to pull over to take a picture. Wow.

Not long after, I spied a fine example of the very Jalop Ferari FF. It always surprises me how big it looks in person, but like everything the Italians have ever made ever it is still elegant, refined, subtle, and just plain beautiful. I just love this new deep red Ferari is trying out, maybe in honor of Scudareeah Ferari’s two super tan new drivers.

Just when I thought I’d seen it all, a true classic appeared. A Ferrari 550 Maranello! It was the perfect spec, too. Classic Ferari red with the optional aero pack and those timeless gold Ferari five spoke wheels.

Seattle was saving the best for last. In the afternoon I happened upon the most legendary modern Ferari of all, that mid-engined beast called F40. Just hearing that boost spool away from a stop light sent shivers down my spine. Perfect black on red look going on, with custom euro plates too! Just wow.

So there you go, a walk through some rare and exotic sheet sheet metal from far away lands, stuff you never just see in a strip mall parking lot. I’m so glad these owners take care of their cars, while still finding it in them to bring these beasts out for the world to enjoy. A wyld stallyn needs to stretch it’s legs now and then.

Hope you enjoyed reading my little photo journal as much as I enjoyed experiencing it!

You should talk to TheHondaBro about his car. It’s the predecessor to the F12, the 599. I think you’ll like it.

Of course, when it comes time to transport your prized Ferari to the track, nothing less than this classic paint-matched transport will do. Che bella!

It’s actually a Ferari 575 Maranello.
