I live on the Palouse, and I must say, the automotive choice on the Palouse is super crappy, its mostly mid-2000’s SUV’s, early 90’s Subaru station wagons, and soccer moms in their big ass SUV’s. I would be very sad if the automotive magazine was Oppo, because oppo would be really crappy. did the mods just find the most obscure region of the US? (although I did see a red Nissan GT-R today on my way to Walmart which is was a stupid rare sight)

I only know of 2 oppo’s in this area, me and Fookin’ Prawns, who is just going to college here, I think I’m the only oppo who actually lives permenantly on the Palouse

You may be the only permanent resident of the Palouse but being in Spokane I’m fairly close. And your description of the vehicle mix around here is spot on.

The actual reason I drive a moutaineer is for the Utility in Sport Utility Vehicle, I mow lawns for a living, and so the mountaineer is my work “truck” even though its not a real truck (aka pickup).

i have the 4 liter :(

but the 4 liter is the only one to come with proper 4WD and a transfer case :) the 5.0 only has AWD.

Well I guess that’s not so bad. I had that 4.0 in my Ranger and it was actually pretty torquey. Getting the good t-case is worth that.
