what are the cars that are on your list of cars tat you will buy once you have that little extra money or space to take care of them. I’m not talking about the Ferrari’s and Lamborghini that everyone lusts over, the the latest sold out super car, what are the reasonable cars that you could own and one day hope to have in your garage?
Of course, if you could afford a Lamborghini Muira and are just waiting for the right one to hit the market, feel free to say that.
I’ll start things off with a classic Porsche of some sort, a beetle, an BMW E30, and some kind of practical daily driver, like a golf, or focus or fiesta. something along those line.
What would you choose?

BMW Isetta

Oh and I want a deuce and a half for winter use.

Right now, I just want a Legacy 2.5 GT. I think that’s my realistic goal for the time being.

At the moment I can afford an older car and maybe a newer one, Since I like VW’s and Mazda’s mainly, I’ll get an MX-6, and possibly pick one of the cheaper cars from work, there was a 2008 Rabbit 2.5 5 speed that came from a trade-in last week that caught my eye, thing was a hoot on the road.

Current gen Durango Citadel or R/T
Pickup - can’t decide on Ram 1500, new F-150, or GMC Sierra
NC Miata (I like the way they look best) or FRS/BRZ for fun.

Fix the rust blister that appeared on my 72 Supreme and make some performance mods when the factory components need to be replaced. (Rear sway bar, new bushings, progressive springs, good shocks, fast ratio steering box, regear the rear axle and get a posi carrier and then finally build a high compression engine and convert the rears brakes to discs)
Get an old Suburban or International Travelall to do some light offroading with
Restore my 73 Delta 88 Royale so I can have somethig to cruise around in with the top down.

1995 Dodge Ram 2500 V10
1988 Pontiac Fiero GT w/ manual
1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
1959 Chevrolet Corvette hard-top
2001 Mitsubishi GTO VR4
Have the ZR-1, next car I buy will probably be the Fiero since they are getting scarce, and then after that...the truck for sure. The 1959 Corvette is actually on the stretch end of the spectrum, because they are fast approaching six figures. Might just have to buy it as a project car, which also allows room for fun things like putting bigger engines and better transmissions in.

E46 M3 Phoenix Yellow
E39 M5 Le Mans Blue
New diesel car for DD (VW, Audi, BMW, don’t care)
Used Boxster GTS
2016 Camaro SS ( unless the next one is even smaller)
What I really want though is a two door Civic modified to be mid engined RWD with a GM LT1 in it, but I’ll probably end up with an F12 before that happens >_>

Post wedding the then Mrs and I will be looking to buy a place. Hoping to stay in Chicago could mean still just a one car garage, but I’m hoping for two. If it’s two, here’s what I’d want that we could realistically afford as a second car:
Nissan Z (can’t decide if 370 Nismo or 300 or older)
Nissan GT-R (would be a tough sell to the Mrs but I’ve been working on it for a while)
Audi S5
BMW M4
Jag F Type (actually her choice more than mine but I’d happily accept)
I’m sure there will be others that make it into the discussion, this is the short list.
