328i actually. I drove both and didn't feel the desire to spend an additional 5k on the 335i despite its glorious engine. this thing does 0-60 in 5.4, which isn't bad for a 4cyl.

The engine in the 35’s isn't glorious, it sucks. I was pretty against getting a four banger bimmer, but my wife's X1 has been the most drama free BMW I've owned. My dads m235i spent almost two months in the shop in its firs year.
