RHD Jeep TJ.
Seen yesterday in the Washington DC area. They were sold starting in 2003 as an option for rural mail carriers.
I’m curious why they bought it. It isn’t like there’s a shortage of LHD TJs.

Maybe the driver is a mail carrier? I know in some rural areas, they are completely unmarked except a magnetic sign on the roof.

It was a rual mail jeep 10 years ago, but no longer is. A requirement for a mail vehicle is it has to be secure. It no longer has the hard top.
Someone bought a retired TJ mail Jeep, and I’m curious why. It’s not like it’s unique.

Ah, makes sense. Might have just been on the cheap or something then.

Maybe they just wanted to confuse drive through workers?

The city I work in has quite a few RHD TJ’s used by parking enforcement and other city departments. I’m guessing they got them on the cheap after their postal careers ended.
