I woke up in the morning to find my mom was leaving for the Grocery store. Typical boring Saturday.
Then I got a call that my Aunt and Uncle are going to look at cars at the dealership and decided to take me. We went to Honda, Mazda, Volkswagen and finally Kia. They haven’t purchased a car but they went to pick out what may be their final choice (they want it by the end of May).
The choices widdled down to the Kia Optima and Mazda CX-5. After looking at space, drive and everything, the Optima is what they want. Optima EX-L Specifically.
We are going to look at Hyundai on Tuesday. After that It’s either a Hyundai Tuscon, Hyundai Sonata or Kia Optima.
After that we went back to my Gramda’s (where they live) and I had a day of cleaning my Civic extensively.
(My Civic and My Uncles Corolla.)
The CIVIC badging is a little bit ugly here, because its actually just the residue.
I wanted the CIVIC badging removed because I thought it would look clean. We didn’t have floss or anything really to get rid of it so we where stuck. My aunt then ripped it off with her bare hands and we got rid of that.
I guess this is my first “mod” or personalization to the Civic. I plan to do some more in the future. We did this badge removal DIY, my aunt ripped it off, and then we used rubbing alcohol and an card to get rid of it. No scratches.

How are Kias and Hyundais trending on long term reliability? They have a couple of offerings I like, but I fear that they'll be trash at 100K...

we got like, dental floss sticks. They don’t even have long enough strings.
In the short term, I am getting an AUX cord this week and fixing my front speakers.
I hate to say the word bodykit, but I’d rather use pictures. This one is the same model year and all but an SI, I really like the final frame, or the third frame. I don’t want any wing at all though. I like it smooth or a lip. Wings look too...ricey. And I don’t like the hood either. I adore that body kit, it makes it look like the 2010+ facelift. I have no plans on engine mods or lowering it. I don’t like stance because its reks the underside and ruins the suspension, and Canadian roads are 90% potholes. This was one of the few stock suspension civics i liked.

I have no clue about that sadly, this is the biggest problem for my aunt and uncle right now. It’s an amazing vehicle, but will it be amazing in the long run?

ew i hate when people have loud-ass nasty exhaust. It’s disprectful and a menace to society. So many older Civics here have it, I hate it.

I’ve had a lot of customers swear that they’d never buy another Kia or Hyundai, either due to reliability issues or how awful they were treated at service centres. They’re still having a few growing pains, it looks like.
