Lowered a seat before? Can it be done relatively easily? (I can handle any DIY work other than welding). My seat is comfortable but a little high up for my liking, I don’t want to do a foamectomy or anything like that but would like to drop it down a few centimetres.

I’m going down to the local scrapyard soon to see if there are any bolt in seat rails from similar cars that are a bit lower. If that isn’t possible I might have to get creative.

Also unfortunately I don’t have the amazing striped pattern on my seat, I have these much more boring ones.

You’ll have to make a new bracket, which means welding.

Ah well, I tried to see if there were any off the shelf brackets (the floor plan is the same as several RenaultSports so I thought there’d be a good aftermarket) but I couldn’t find any.
