We’ve just found out they’ll be doing construction on our street Tuesday, the car can’t be towed until the following Tuesday and our street won’t be done in time. We have two options: Get the car running and to a friends house, or get it out of our house before Tuesday morning.
I chose the former. Right now, I’m checking to see what’s not happening: Fuel, or spark.
I’ve pulled 5 of the 6 Bosch CIS injectors and preformed an awesome test! I’ve taken the injectors, and placed each one in an empty bottle of Propel. I turn the car on and the fuel pump starts sending fuel to the injectors. By lifting the throttle sensor plate in the airbox, the pressurized fuel will come out in a spray. If they spray as they’re supposed to, then fuel isn’t the problem, and spark is. If vice-versa......FUCK!
I just did the test, and have discovered of the 5 of the 6 injectors I pulled, 1, 3, 4, and 5 are working as they should. #2 is being an asshole and not working properly, only dripping or a small stream of gas depending on sensor position. No idea on injector #6 yet, but it’s a start.

Um....seems like the logistical issues here are pretty easy to work around.
What’s stopping you from towing it to a friend’s house right now? Towing companies are usually pretty quick to respond, even if you need a flatbed. Call a towing company, pop it in neutral, slap it up on the flatbed, take it to the friend’s house, reverse the process. It just takes a few people to push a non-running car around. Hell, see if the shop will let you drop it off early because of your road construction, even if it costs some storage fees.

Those old 911’s are pretty light, yeah? Pop it in neutral, get some peasants, and push.
I mean I can get the ST moving on my own, and I’m the opposite of athletic.

It has to be pushed 3 miles straight down a public street to my friends house. It's not that it can't be done. It's too damned dangerous.

I don't have the money to have it towed twice.

Isn’t it your dad’s car?
And/or do you have free towing on your insurance?

It is.
We don't have free towing with insurance. It's out of pocket for me. -_-

If you (or someone you know) has Verizon tow service it would be free for the first 10 miles. It’s also only a 48 hour wait period before you can use the service. Assuming you have Verizon and signed up today, it would be a free tow. It’s also only 3 bucks a mile after the first 10. Seems like that would be an easy move.
You could always just rent a trailer from uhaul and truck it over.

The tow from my house to the shop about 5-6 miles away is $125. If I tow it to my friends house who lives about 2-3 miles closer to the shop than I do, would I be saving money if I had it towed from my house, to my friends house, then the shop in two weeks?
And we have AT&T... -_-
I haven’t a clue how much it’d be to tow, but at least we now have a car that CAN tow.
