It’s a trend called slow TV. It seems the nature of fast paced TV is causing the younger generation to have a lack of focus...So they started making this stuff.

The national danish channel (DR) had a live event with a camera strapped to the front of the new IC4 train going the full lenght of our rail network when they had just launched their HD channel..

You realize this is an actual movement, sorta like the slo-food movement? Apparently this is ‘slow tv’, for whatever that means. It made wikipedia today, however.
