500 is the kids car. 63 is hers. He likes Porsches :).

Maybe he should check out a GT-S.

Drove one, wasn’t a fan. Can’t really match GT3 precision.

True enough. Personally, I don’t have the confidence or skill to attempt driving a 911 close to limit, let alone a GT3. The AMG is a closer match for less hardcore 911’s anyways.

AMG stands out a lot more too. Yes, there is a wing on the GT3, but the long hood and chrome bits make the AMG stand out next to to the big beetle.

Very true. Different strokes, eh?

Certainly. The benefit of the 911 is that, at least where I live, it doesn’t stand out too much. Even in less wealthy areas a 911 is something cool, but seeing an AMG GT-S fly by would be something else. A 911 is about as flashy as you can pull up in at the country club.

Yeah. Even just putting gas in a GT ends up being a 30 minute ordeal with people wanting to check it out and asking you to rev it and do burn outs.

Try leaving Cars & Coffee with an AMG wagon. Nobody lets you leave.

I believe it. I would probably de-badge the thing and park on the street a little ways away to avoid some of the attention. It’s strange how most AMG’s (at least historically) are fairly understated compared to their competitors but there are a few models that people just go nuts over.
