If somebody came up to me and said, “To haul your family of 4 you can choose between a Chevy Suburban, Ford Expedition, or Checker Aerobus Wagon,” I would take the Aerobus. However, I would expect the car to come with things like wheels, brakes, an engine, and other basic features.

Now I fully support project cars but this one is missing a key component, wheels, and with the graininess of the picture, I don’t know what else it could be missing.

The seller is asking $4000 for an Aerobus on blocks. The body looks relatively straight; however, the chassis does look like it is in shambles with no word on the engine. For 4k, I would expect the car to have wheels and be somewhat operational, but then again it is an Aerobus and they don’t come up very often.

However, this does present a blank slate for the enthusiast restorer. So what say you Oppo?

Nice Price, Crack Pipe, or Super Crack Pipe.

I’m not sure where you’d find another one, but still, crack pipe.

CP. You still need a donor truck to get it functioning.

It’s cliche, but it’s worth what someone will pay for it. I think you’d be hard pressed to fine another one at any price. Does the Chevy truck behind it run? Ask the seller to throw that one in for a donor drive train.

Yea, it’s so rare, to anyone who wants one it’s NP all day long.

And if you needed a vehicle like this for events or as a shuttle of some sort, the cool meter would be off the charts were it to be restored. I’m thinking classic NYC taxi livery, yellow with black checkers.
