Well actually I bought it two weeks ago but whatever...

Decided it was time to sell the 98 Camaro and go for a 5th gen. Found this 2014 SS/RS on a lot and was marked way down due to being a leftover. It’s an automatic car but if I have the urge to drive a manuel car, I’ll drive the 68.

My 98 is still for sale, but when it does sell the modding can begin. Planing on mainly cosmetic things. Z/28 rear spoiler, 1LE front splitter, stripes of some kind. Only motor mods planned is exhaust and a cold air kit.

It really isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. My friend has a 2010 with tints and I didn’t find it problematic. I feel like this is one of those things where if you have a problem with it, the car isn’t fully to blame.

My uncle has a 2013 RS (auto ¯\_()_/¯ ). I didn’t think visibility was too bad, but then again, I wasn’t the one driving.

Nice like the rims, much sharper looking than the 10-13s. Though as a 98 Camaro owner, its getting rarer and rarer to find 4th gen F-body owners.

Also i looked at a ‘10 6 speed and i strongly disliked the clutch feel, but im spoiled by Honda, so i understand the auto choice.

My 98 is a great car, no doubt but it's a 17 year old car for a daily driver. I have other weekend toys so the 98 sadly has to go. Plus with the money from selling the 98 this car can get some mods and my 68 camaro can get new carpet.

Mine is a 2012. I couldn’t stand the look of the steering wheel and the bare plastic dash in the 2010-2011 cars. New steering wheel and leather on the dash for 2012 and I was sold. Snagged it just as the 2013’s were about to hit dealer lots. I didn’t want the MyLink system which was added for the 2013 model. I had the dealer install a heritage grill before I picked it up to make it fit my tastes perfectly. I love this car. You’re going to enjoy the hell out of yours too I’m sure.

Fun fact: The automatic SS has a different engine than the manual SS. Manual has the LS3 (426hp/420lb-ft) while the auto has the L99 (400hp/410lb-ft).
