There’s a lot of “free to play” (LOLOLOL) games on mobile that generate a ton of fucking money for the developers.
But that doesn’t make them good games. I have about the largest screen you can get on a phone, but I play no games on it. The breadth and depth of gaming you get on PC and even consoles can just never be replicated on something that is explicitly designed to go with you anywhere.
There’s just always going to be physical limitations that prevent the same kind of good, long lasting games from appearing on mobile.

With Kojima basically out the door as it is, I don’t really give a shit what Konami does. SH is dead, MGS is on life support, and I’m caring less and less about upcoming games
Certainly not going to be interested in a pay-to-play soccer match. Or games on my phone. Guess maybe I actually am an Old, but whatevs. Gonna play MGSI-V(or IV at least) till I die

My phone’s screen measures 6.1 inches and I can’t game on it either. I have a flight simulator game and the screen feels tiny while playing that.
The only good games for phones are things like Candy Crush. But those kind of games are only good for killing time or trying to beat your friends. “Real” games will never take off on mobile, unless VR gets us somewhere.
