Just happened upon this absolutely beautiful Series 3 E-type as I was tootling around my neighbourhood. I believe the colour is an original Jag colour, Sable, and while I’m no expert in these matters, it looked freakin’ amazing.

No owner around, or I would have chatted him up to get more details.
