Some lucky chap in Calgary took delivery of the most beautiful spec 991 GT3. Silver wheels, steel brakes, stock red tails, clear glass, and Paint to Sample Gulf Oil Blue. Fitting for the province of Alberta (main source of income is oil). I think he waited nearly two years for it. Too bad Calgary is not a suitable habitat for sports cars / enthusiasts / people. Just look at those grimy pickups in the background. That GT3 will look GT Silver halfway down the block. Car belongs in Northern Cali, stashed away in a Nappa Valley vineyard turned raceshop with daily sprints to Sonoma Raceway and occasional jaunts to Sausolito at night for some excellent fish at Scoma’s. /endrant

Either it will be a garage queen that rarely gets driven. Or it will end up spun around backwards in a ditch, care is snap oversteer, because more money than talent. Either way this car has tragic written all over it. Or maybe he will autocross/track the car on weekends. Also I am jealous, can you tell.

Owner also has a Radical (in the same Gulf Blue color). Should be fine.

Porsche is famous for their million shades of blue. Riviera, Mexico, Missien, Gulf, Sapphire.... Gorgeous, all of them. This one is Gulf Oil Blue however. I pulled the pics from the forum where they owner posted the pics.

Oh man, any automaker will for enough coin. But Porsche has an actual option code that’s called PTS where you can spec a unique or historic color. Google “Porsche GT3 PTS” and you’ll be amazed.

It’s not quite any colour you like after all though - there’s a list and if it’s on the list they’ll do it, anything else has to be looked into.
