24 sparkplugs?! Probably so expensive they had to cheap out on the carbs. Everybody knows a carbed v12 should have a downdraught double weber per cilinder pair.

The engine turned valvecovers make up for it though.
The fact that it is a french pre-war racer with a magnesium V12 also doesn’t hurt.
