Somebody brought a Citroen C6 to the United States from Belgium. Apparently, the owner had it registered at some point using some title that most likely isn’t valid. It’s got some pretty decent fake/invalid plates though! Bidding has already ended, but $25,000 is a fairly high price to pay for something that’s legality is highly questionable.

Legally questionable is an understatement. I’ve seen this car. The For Sale ad mentioned one year, the Registration sticker on the car had a different year, and the VIN (assuming we were reading it correctly) was for another different year.

Fake plates?

Either that or not currently registered to anything. They literally come back to nothing.

How TF did I not see that?

I don’t know, but that doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you've seen it now.

Looks like there was some bribery in play getting that thing registered.

I agree. But hey, at the end of the day it doesn’t matter too much. It’s legally registered.

Yeah, legally registered illegally. I’m pretty sure that it’s still illegal on a federal level.

Probably some custom fake plates I guess...with a sharp eye with Adobe illustrator, it could work

Stupid government. If this thing was legal I would have had it as my first car, no question, I didn’t care what it took. But that’s a bit of a steep price and I wouldn’t want it crushed...
USA DOT is awful.

Definitely not legal for sale. You can bring an alien over here with you as a visitor, but it has to leave with you when you do.
