So bad acting, bad directing with bad cinematography and Adobe premier level special FX don’t make for a good movie? Wow.
Actually...it all makes sense now. Can’t take back that $100M I spend making it, but oh well.

I guess you’ve never seen 200 M.P.H.
The lead car changes from a RX-7 to a 240SX as the RX-7 was stolen during production. Oh and it’s refered to as a Miata.

Let’s be honest, this is probably the worst car film because of both the crappy story and production quality. At least Need for Speed has good looks but no intelligence, like an amateur Hollywood whore.

As bad as the Need for Speed storyline is, I will still watch it multiple times again because Micheal Keaton was BRILLIANT in that movie, and Imogin (sp?) Poots is georgous, but the attention to audio porn was pretty good too.

I agree with the audio, it does sound great. I couldn’t get into Keaton because his character is just awful. Trying to figure out what's the big deal in the winner getting all the cars if they're all torn to shreds?

There is plenty to cringe at in Need for Speed but it is not the worst car movie. I have seen a few that would be classified as “training material” for Guantanamo Bay.

There are worse movies. And Need for Speed won’t even be on the list of “bad” movies because its far away from that category.

I rate all my car movies as to how much I’d rather watch Redline again. Seriously...watch that trainwreck of a movie and then watch any other car movie. It will be the best car movie you’ve ever seen.
