This was the most over-the-top, ridiculous, furthest from reality, physics-defying thing I’ve witnessed in a long time. And I played the Road Rash games on the Genesis, so that’s saying something.
Beyond that though, I enjoyed the movie. Some parts were physically painful to watch during the fight scenes, but fun nonetheless.
However, what I loved, is how they made the crew a true fire-forged family. You could tell that these people had to be very close to each other even off-screen. And the ending hurt. It was like a gut punch. I always enjoyed these films for their mindless action scenes and testosterone poisoning, but they got the softer stuff right in this one as well.
It may not win Best Picture at the Oscars, but it was worth the price of entry, and future entries won’t hold up to this one. I think if this were the last film, it would wrap it up perfectly. They don’t need to make anymore.
R.I.P. Paul Walker. I hope he would have been proud of the finished product.

Did you enjoy it? If yes, then don’t worry about it. The movies are all about escapism, wer’ve got enough gnarly reality to deal with in our everyday lives.
