Sure, we’ve all cursed at our tires more often than we’d like to admit. Cursed ‘em for flatting, cursed ‘em for not coming off the rim more easily, cursed ‘em for pinching the tube, cursed ‘em for not going back ON the rim more easily...

I won’t be doing that anymore.

Hector Picard became a bilateral amputee after an industrial accident in 1992. Since then, he’s become an elite athlete, doing IronMan triathlons (even !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and those wetsuits aren’t easy to deal with) and long distance cycling rides regularly. Oh yeah, and changing flats.
