I was just looking at some of the state/national parks in my area for good driving roads, when I noticed this: eighteen and a half miles of winding dirt road, and it’s a real road rather than an impassible ORV trail. Gretchen is going to finally get filthy again.
As a bonus, I get a chance to return to Dahlonega, which has all sorts of cool antique stores, one of which has a great assortment of Hot Wheels. :D

Oh man, I went to supercar sunday at Goodwood (sorta like a themed C&C) a couple weeks back and it was raining heavily just before it started and you have park in a field for these events. Boy did I have fun in the mud in my miata!

It rained last night and I originally planned this route for today, but I have a doctor’s appointment... Hopefully it stays wet up there for me.

It's so hard for me to find open dirt roads in my area. They are either closed by gates or are restricted. Put up some video after you go!

Hipster Kitt...en?
That road looks like loads of fun. But if it is in a national park, watch for rangers/police. I don't think they take too kindly to folks flying down roads in a park.

Yeah, this is like an hour out of the way. The closest dirt road to me is less than an eighth of a mile long and full of pot holes.

There’s a pizza joint on the square in Dahlonega that I thought was quite good last time I went.
